MY CASELOAD IS CURRENTLY FULL, AND I HAVE CLOSED MY WAITLIST AT THIS TIME
If you are interested in working with the modality of Somatic Experiencing® (SE) which can be a helpful approach through which to engage issues including anxiety, trauma, chronic pain or fatigue, anger, grief etc. access the resources below for practitioners who offer Somatic Experiencing® (SE) and Sensorimotor Processing. For a more detailed explanation of SE, check out this helpful and informative handout created by Dr Susan Kriegler from Dr Peter Levine’s work (he is the creator of SE).
Due to COVID-19 and now the variants, I will only be seeing clients via video telehealth until the Oregon Health Authority declares in person healthcare office visits to be safe without masks for vaccinated people.
OTHER THERAPISTS TO CONTACT WHO MAY HAVE OPENINGS:
If you are interested in working with a therapist trained in mindful-experiential therapy and Hakomi (somatic modalities), please email email@example.com . For a more general directory of Hakomi practitioners, go to: https://hakomiinstitute.com/directory/directory-practitioners
I recommend therapists and practitioners who are certified Somatic Experiencing® (SE) Practitioners and graduates of Sensorimotor Processing. They have expert skill in helping with chronic pain, illness, and trauma, as well as other issues in a more body oriented approach. They support you to find and cultivate balance/resource/regulation along with strength and safety in your nervous system, to be able to experience and enjoy life more fully. Here is a link to SE practitioners (I recommend choosing a fully certified SE practitioner, with the credentials “SEP”) : https://directory.traumahealing.org
Here is a link to Sensorimotor Processing Practitioners (I recommend choosing at least a level 1 graduate) : https://account.sensorimotorpsychotherapy.org/directory.html

The insurances I accept are below. Please make sure your insurance plan covers outpatient professional mental health counseling, and check on whether your deductible applies.
-Pacific Source and PacificSource Medicare Advantage Plan
-If you have out of network benefits on a health plan that I am not paneled with [such as Providence], if I can verify with them I will be paid, I am willing to bill them directly
– NOT ACCEPTING MORE REGENCE BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD CLIENTS AT THIS TIME ONTO MY CASELOAD OR WAITLIST: Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield [check back on this webpage, which I will update when I have Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield openings available]
I will need to verify that I am an in-network provider for your coverage before we start working together. You will be responsible for your copay and/or session costs as determined by your insurance company, as well as for any missed appointments.
IF I AM OUT OF YOUR INSURANCE NETWORK: You can pay me directly and I can provide you with paperwork to submit to your insurance company, so that they can reimburse you according to your policy at the out-of-network rate for our sessions.
Free Initial Consult Meetings Available:
Before you schedule a full paid session, we will set up a free 15 minute phone call or video chat to get a sense of your goals and for me to assess whether I am a good fit for the support you’re wanting. These consult sessions will not begin therapeutic work, but will give you a taste of how I will work with you. You may elect also to start with a full paid session, where we do begin therapeutic work, and decide after if you would like to continue.
I ask for 48 hours notice to cancel an appointment, or else the full session fee will be charged, regardless of the reason for cancellation. There are some extenuating circumstances (for example, life threatening medical issue or unsafe weather conditions) in which I may charge half the fee, or in rare cases, waive the fee.
I do not see clients when they are under the influence of an unprescribed substance. If you attend a session under the influence you will not be seen that day, and will need to reschedule, and will be responsible for paying for that session.
Providing Letters/Paperwork Policy
If you request supporting documentation (letters written on your behalf), I charge a fee of $40/hour. I am only able to provide clinical perspective based on my direct experience in session with you, including diagnosis, treatment goals, course of treatment and treatment plans, and session dates. I am not qualified to provide custody recommendations or parenting evaluations, evaluations of disability, or evaluate the necessity of work accommodations.
Pay For Your Session Online Using PayPal
If you pay for sessions via PayPal or credit card, I charge a $3 service fee per transaction under $100 and a $5 fee for transactions $100 or greater. This is to cover the fee they charge me to use this service, and to offer you the convenience of paying with a credit card. Please add this $5 fee to your session balance in your PayPal payment below:
