Why Somatic & Trauma-Informed Consultation?

Humans are emotional animals and we are wired for survival. In the workplace, while we often strive to come from a logical, pre-frontal cortex-mediated perspective, when we experience cues of emotional or physical threat, our instincts can take over and we respond with fight, flight, freeze, or fawn behaviors. This can make communication escalate into arguments quickly, cause breaches in trust, and throw a wrench in collaboration.

Understanding how nervous system activation works and affects communication, and how to recognize and respond to different nervous system states, can create a work culture and environment where people feel safe and supported, which then allows for the optimal state of social engagement, where clear, curious, and respectful communication, innovation, and growth happen.

60 minute virtual video consultation to address your immediate needs.

Deep Dive Consultation
Pack of 3, 60 minute virtual video sessions (or accessible as six 30 minute increments).
Ongoing Support Retainer
Access to up to 180 minutes of virtual video or phone support/month (used in 30 and 60 minute increments) plus unlimited email support for brief questions.

  • We will create clear next steps to implement.

  • I will send you a summary within 24 hours of our consultation, including any resources and methods we discussed, along with an action plan.
